We are looking forward to hosting you for a mindful day of equine connection and meditation practice at the Sarah Parks Horsemanship Ranch! Shift into the slow lane and awaken your senses as you discover how horses are our greatest teachers.
What to Bring:
Q / How should I dress?
A / Dress for the weather and in layers: We will be outdoors in the elements so bring what you need to stay warm and comfortable. Be prepared with extras such as gloves, sweater, vest, jacket, or rain boots.
Footwear & Clothing: Wear comfortable footwear as we will be moving around the ranch and walking through the forest. Runners / comfortable boots / hiking shoes are recommended. Absolutely no open-toed shoes are to be worn at any time.
Q / Should I bring snacks & drinks?
A / We will be breaking in between activities so bring snacks and plenty to drink to refuel and stay hydrated. We recommend bringing:
✓A cooler bag to store your snacks and lots of liquids. ✓ Re-usable water bottle ✓ Sunglasses & hat ✓ Insect repellent/sun screen ✓
What are we doing?
Q / Will we be riding horses?
A / Our time spent with the horses will be dismounted with our interactions taking place on the ground.
Q/ Do I need prior experience?
A/ No. Beginning and experienced meditators welcome!
Q/ Is there physical exertion involved?
A/ We will be going for a walk out to the nearby forest through the fields on an unpaved path.
